In the Baltic countries, visitors to Istanbul from Lithuania increased by 45.5 percent, Estonia by 13.2 percent and Latvia by 10.6 percent during the first 8 months of this year.

In contrast, the number of tourists coming to Istanbul from the Netherlands, Serbia, Finland and Moldova declined.
